I have many people to thank for the reception held Saturday Nov 16th, 2024.
To Dr. and Mrs. Gergis, and Ilona and Antony Gergis, for hosting the event.
To all those who volunteered to help with setting up and tidying up afterward: the wonderful staff at 20 Doctor's Lane, Sarah our pharmacist and her husband George, Melissa and Michael, and Dr. Tran's son, who helped with the balloons.
And to my (now former) patients, some of whom drove great distances to come to King City. You all lined up outside on a cold afternoon, while waiting to bring your good wishes. At least it wasn't raining, let alone snowing!
It was great to greet so many of you on Saturday; sorry that our meetings had to be brief. I want to wish all of you good health in the future, and am confident that Dr. Tran will provide excellent care when it is needed.
Sincerely,
Paul Randall, MD CCFP

Dr Randall's retirement

Dr. Paul Randall provided comprehensive care to families in King Township and beyond from 20 Doctor's Lane for over 50 years, from August 16, 1973 to June 2, 2024. His long-standing dedication to the community spanned more than five decades, during which he played a crucial role in establishing and maintaining medical services in the area.
As of June 2024, Dr. Randall has retired from his medical practice. His retirement marks the end of an era in King Township's healthcare landscape. Throughout his career, Dr. Randall was instrumental in keeping 20 Doctor's Lane operational, working almost alone for couple years (2015-2017) until more doctors joined the practice, without his dedication, perseverance and financial sacrifice, the community would have lost the oldest medical office in the township at that critical time!
Despite his retirement, Dr. Randall's impact on the medical community in King Township remains significant. His colleagues and patients continue to regard him as a role model, and his influence is still evident throughout the office. The legacy he leaves behind includes not only the physical location of the practice but also the standard of care and dedication he exemplified throughout his career.
Dr. Randall's contributions to healthcare in King Township have been substantial, and his retirement is a notable milestone for both the medical community and the patients he served for over half a century.
